Setting up the Reef-Farm
I'm anticipating the setup of the facility to run about 90 days from now; the end of which will beonce full operations start.  Currently just about everything is on order but is being held until all the parts of the structure arrive.  This has happened and construction has begun here.  After construction has begun the rest of the aquaculture equipment will be ordered.  If all goes smoothly it looks like mid to late April will be when the tanks start getting filled.

We have now gotten all of the strucutre related parts and equipment, and you can see most of it in the pictures here.  With this completed we have now started the construction of the greenhouse.  This part of the project will hopefully be completed by early April, followed by getting some tanks going.  I have decided that I want to get some things going manually and then add on support services as I go.  What I mean by this is that I think I want to work the farm a bit before I decide how to run the plumbing or to setup the work areas.  I have a general idea of what I want but I'm hoping in the first month or two that I can think of things that might make the setup better.

Things that are still working are:
  1. Fabrication of the first set of vats
  2. Getting the sand to put in the vats
  3. Acquiring the initial load of broodstock
You can see each of the steps below.
